Katie Januszewka has once again been recognised among the league’s elite domestic talent, earning a place in the Super League Basketball British Team of the Year for the second consecutive season following another standout campaign with the Leicester Riders.
The GB international continued her upward trajectory, building on last year’s breakout season with another consistent and impactful year in Riders colours. Having now firmly established herself as one of the league’s premier young talents, Januszewka’s repeat selection highlights both her individual quality and continued development with the club.
After receiving her first senior Great Britain call-up last season, Januszewka has carried that momentum into this year, once again playing a key role for Leicester Riders.
Her performances across the campaign combined scoring efficiency, defensive effort and leadership, making her a central figure in the Riders’ averaging 15.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game this season.
