Flynn Boardman-Raffet named to Super League Basketball British Team of the Year!

Flynn Boardman-Raffet has been recognised among the league’s top domestic talent, earning a place in the Super League Basketball British Team of the Year following a standout 2025–26 campaign with the Leicester Riders.

The Riders guard enjoyed a breakthrough season, also being voted the club’s Fans’ Player of the Season, underlining both his on court impact and growing connection with supporters. His selection reflects a year of consistent performances and continued development as one of the league’s most promising British guards.

After the international break, Boardman-Raffet became a mainstay in Rob Paternostro’s starting five, going on to lead the Riders with his performances during the latter stages of the season. His influence grew week by week, establishing himself as a key figure in the Riders lineup.

Boardman-Raffet averaged 21.8 minutes per game while contributing 10.9 points per contest. His efficiency was a key feature of his play, shooting 49.5% from the field and an impressive 61.6% from two-point range, alongside 73.8% from the free-throw line.

He also made a strong all-around contribution, averaging 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, providing energy and balance on both ends of the floor for Leicester.

His late-season form further underlined his importance to the team. Across the final stretch of the campaign, Boardman-Raffet consistently delivered key performances, including multiple 20+ point games and heavy minutes against top opposition.

Among his standout performances, he produced a memorable display against Manchester Basketball, scoring 35 points and adding five rebounds in one of the most impressive individual performances of the season. He followed that up with further strong outings, including a 30-point performance against the Sheffield Sharks, highlighting his ability to take over games offensively.

Speaking on his selection, Boardman-Raffet said:
