Leicester Riders have completed the signing of Canadian guard Taryn Todd ahead of the 2026/27 Super League Basketball season.
Todd joins the Riders for his second season of professional basketball, having gained experience in Kosovo and Israel during the 2025/26 campaign.
The Canadian finished last season with Vellaznimi Gjakove in Kosovo, where he produced a number of impressive performances. His standout outing came against KB Rahoveci, when Todd recorded 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists to help Vellaznimi secure the victory.
Todd arrived in professional basketball following a successful collegiate career that included spells with TCU and New Mexico before transferring to Arkansas State for his final two seasons of eligibility.
During both of his seasons with the Red Wolves, Todd earned All-Sun Belt Conference honours. He was named to the All-Sun Belt Third Team in 2024 before taking another step forward as a senior, earning First Team recognition.
As a senior, Todd established himself as one of Arkansas State’s leading offensive threats, averaging 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game, demonstrating his ability to make an impact at both ends of the floor.
Following his graduation from Arkansas State at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, Todd began his professional career with the Brampton Honey Badgers in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), before moving overseas for the 2025/26 season.

Todd becomes the sixth confirmed player on Head Coach Paternostro’s new-look roster ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
