Leicester Riders Head Coach Rob Paternostro has been named the Molten Super League Basketball Coach of the Month for April.
The Riders had a 7-2 record over a nine-game April schedule, propelling them to the second seed for the postseason at 23-9.
Paternostro led his team to a 31-win season in all competitions. He became only the third coach in top-flight British basketball history to have 11 30-win seasons in his career.
In April, the Riders scored 83.1 points per game. Their four game winning streak in the middle of the month made them one of two teams left in the title fight, one of the most impressive being a 100-95 home win in overtime Sheffield Sharks without the trio of Jaylin Hunter, Conner Washington and Duke Shelton.

Leicester Riders begin their playoff campaign against Bristol Flyers in the Quarter-Final in fine form and high on confidence.
The first leg takes place in Bristol this evening (Friday, May 2) at 7:30 pm. The second leg will be played at Mattioli Arena on Monday, May 5 at 1:30 pm. Tickets are available here.
