2. Auction Period
The Leicester Riders 2025/26 Game-Worn Jersey Auction opens upon publication and closes at 12:00pm (UK time) on 22nd June 2026.
No bids submitted after the closing time will be accepted.
3. Submission of Bids
Bids must be submitted via the official Google Form provided by Leicester Riders.
Each bid must:
- Include the bidder’s correct contact details
- Be expressed in pounds sterling (£)
- Meet the minimum bid requirement of £60
Leicester Riders reserve the right to reject incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated or invalid bids.
4. Silent Auction & Winning Bids
This is a silent auction. Bidders will not be able to view the current highest bid.
The highest valid bid received before the closing time for each jersey will be deemed the winning bid.
If two identical highest bids are received, the bid submitted first, as determined by the Google Forms timestamp, will take precedence.
The Organiser’s decision regarding winning bids is final.
5. Organiser’s Rights
Leicester Riders reserve the right to:
- Withdraw any jersey from the auction
- Refuse any bid
- Correct any obvious errors in jersey descriptions
- Cancel or amend the auction where reasonably necessary
Leicester Riders may also contact bidders to verify any bid that appears unusual, duplicated, incomplete or inconsistent before determining a winning bid.
6. Notification of Winners
Successful bidders will normally be contacted within 5 working days of the auction closing.
If a successful bidder cannot be contacted or fails to respond within a reasonable period, Leicester Riders reserve the right to offer the jersey to the next highest bidder.
7. Payment
Payment must be made within 48 hours of notification unless otherwise agreed by Leicester Riders.
Failure to make payment may result in:
- Cancellation of the winning bid
- The jersey being offered to the next highest bidder
Leicester Riders reserve the right to require payment in cleared funds before releasing any item.
8. Collection & Delivery
Collection from the Mattioli Arena is free of charge.
Postage and packaging costs are not included within any winning bid amount.
Where delivery is requested, any applicable shipping charges will be communicated and must be paid by the successful bidder before dispatch.
9. Condition of Jerseys
All jerseys are sold as seen.
Descriptions are provided in good faith but do not constitute warranties.
As these are game-worn items, jerseys may show signs of use consistent with match play.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leicester Riders shall not be liable for:
- Errors in bidding submissions
- Technical failures affecting access to the Google Form
- Losses arising from participation in the auction
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
11. Data Protection & Privacy
Personal data collected during the auction will be used solely for:
- Administering the auction
- Contacting bidders
- Arranging payment, collection or delivery
- Meeting legal and accounting obligations
Personal data collected through this auction will not be used for marketing purposes unless separate consent has been provided.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with this auction shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Google Form Declaration
By submitting a bid, you confirm that:
“I have read and understood the Leicester Riders Game-Worn Jersey Auction Terms & Conditions and consent to my personal data being used for the administration of this auction.”
