Nick began his Riders coaching journey in September 2018 as Head Coach of the Loughborough Women’s 3rd BUCS team. Alongside this role, he started coaching with the Leicester Riders Foundation in February 2019, initially supporting community sessions and later coaching the JNBL U14 II for a season.
In September 2021, Nick was appointed Head Coach of the Women’s 2nd BUCS team. During this period, he also served as Head Coach of the Division 1 Women’s team and as Assistant Coach with the Leicester Riders WBBL side.
Since 2019, Nick served as Assistant Coach for the Leicester Riders Women, playing a key role in the team’s success, including winning the WBBL Trophy and WBBL Cup. Alongside his work with the professional team, he has also been pivotal in the club’s youth development, acting as Head of the Girls Academy at Charnwood College since 2022. Under his leadership, the Academy clinched the WEABL North Conference title in 2023–24, reinforcing the Riders’ reputation as a leader in player development.
After developing his skills as a coach across multiple levels of the Riders Pathway Programme, Nick was appointed Head Coach of the Loughborough Riders Women in NBL Division 1 for the 2024–25 season.
In June 2025, Nick was appointed Head Coach of the Leicester Riders Women’s team, which plays in the Women’s Super League Basketball competition for the 2025-26 season.
