Leicester Riders guard RaeQuan Battle has been voted as the Super League Basketball player of the month for December after an impressive run of performances throughout the festive period. This marks the second time in the last three months that Battle has claimed the award, underlining his consistency and impact at the highest level.

Battle put up outstanding numbers throughout the December, with averages of 24.4 points per game to go alongside 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists. RaeQuan matched his season high against the Lions shortly after Christmas, dropping another breathtaking 30 point performance against the league leaders on the 27th December.
His performances throughout the season have also seen him rise to the top of the league leaderboard, where he currently leads Super League Basketball in scoring at 22.0 points per game.
Battle’s ability to score in a variety of ways, combined with his leadership on the court, has made him one of the most exciting players to watch in the league and a clear fan favourite.
