Leicester Riders are back in action tomorrow night as they travel to the capital to take on London Lions at 7:30pm on Friday 2 October.
It will be another early test for Rob Paternostro’s new-look side, with the Riders looking to respond after their opening road game against Cheshire Phoenix.
Riders Looking to Build
The Riders have plenty of new faces settling into the group, and tomorrow’s game gives them another chance to build chemistry against one of the league’s biggest names.
TJ Hurley has already shown his ability to score from the perimeter and attack the basket.
JJ will also be looking to make an impact in the backcourt, giving Leicester another option to create for himself and his teammates.
With Deante Johnson Jr, Taryn Todd, Julian Mackey and Bernard Pelote also involved, Riders have plenty of offensive options as the team continues to come together.
The Opposition
London Lions provide a tough early-season challenge.
Games between the Riders and Lions have regularly produced big domestic matchups, and Leicester will need to be sharp defensively and take care of the ball if they are to put themselves in a strong position.
The Riders will also look to push the pace when opportunities arise and make the most of their depth across the roster.
