Leicester Riders can confirm that Club Captain Spencer Johnson will miss the remainder of the Super League Basketball season following an injury sustained during the BUCS National Championship Finals, where he was representing Loughborough University.
Johnson suffered the injury during the championship fixture and will now begin a period of rehabilitation under the supervision of the club’s medical team. After further assessment, it has been determined that he will be unavailable for the rest of the current campaign.
The club will continue to fully support Spencer throughout his recovery process. Despite being sidelined, he remains a key member of the Riders’ squad and leadership group as the team enters the final stretch of the season.
