The Leicester Riders are saddened to hear of the passing of former player Kenny Pemberton. Kenny played for the Riders from 1983-1985 as part of a 10 year professional basketball career which saw him suit up for Manchester, Hemel, Solent, Kingston, Vauxhall and Leicester, completing over 200 games, with a career average of 17 points per game.
Pemberton was a member of the 1984 Leicester Riders side that took on Solent, in what was the clubs first top flight British basketball final held at the Albert Hall.
