Leicester Riders star Flynn Boardman-Raffet has received his first call-up to the Senior Great Britain Men’s National Team following a breakout campaign in Super League Basketball.
Boardman-Raffet enjoyed a stellar season in Riders colours, establishing himself as one of the league’s top British talents. His performances were recognised at the end of the season when he was named in the Super League Basketball British Team of the Season.
The call-up marks another milestone in Flynn’s impressive rise. While this is his first opportunity at senior international level, he is no stranger to the Great Britain setup, having represented GB on multiple occasions at Under-23 3×3 level, most recently last summer.
Flynn now joins a long list of Leicester Riders players to have represented Great Britain, continuing the club’s proud tradition of developing elite British talent.
The guard finished the regular season in red-hot form after moving into the starting lineup, producing multiple 20-plus point performances against some of the league’s strongest opposition. His outstanding displays helped propel the Riders to a playoff semi-final appearance.
