The Leicester Riders are back in action after the international break taking on a familiar opponent in the Surrey 89ers this Saturday (6pm) at the Surrey Sports Park.
This is the fourth meeting between the 2 sides this season, and the second in Surrey after the Riders took the victory 78-80 back in November. RaeQuan Battle, the leading scorer in the SLB, lead the Riders putting up an impressive 27 points and 4 rebounds.
The Riders and Niners last met in January, where the latter took the win over the Riders at home 80-89, with both teams also meeting in the SLB Cup Quarter-Final a week prior to that fixture. In a game that went down to the wire, the Niners came out on top and progressed to the Cup semi-final where they would bow out to now finalists Manchester Basketball.

For the Riders, rookie big man Nate Martin will look to continue his strong February form, picking up back to back player of the game awards against the Eagles and Lions last month. Martin recorded an impressive 18 points and 9 rebounds against the league leaders last time out.
Fans can catch the game live on DAZN from 6pm on Saturday 7th March.
