Leicester Riders are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Harry Smith.
Harry came through the Leicester Riders JNBL programme from U12s through to U18s and was a much loved member of our basketball family. During his time with the club, he demonstrated great commitment, strong character, and a genuine love for the game.
Harry leaves a lasting impression on coaches, teammates, and friends alike, and was part of the Riders team that won the club’s first JNBL Trophy in the 2016/17 season.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Harry’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him during this incredibly difficult time. He will be remembered fondly by everyone at Leicester Riders.
