American guard Soniyah Reed joins the Riders after a four-year career at Southern University, where she averaged 9.5 points and 3.0 rebounds as a senior, earning a place on the 2025 All-SWAC Tournament First Team and helping the Jaguars reach the NCAA Tournament.
Standing at 6’0”, Reed is a versatile scorer and defender who adds size and athleticism to the Riders’ backcourt. She will also pursue a master’s degree at Loughborough University as part of her two-year deal.
