My story

Jada Holland joins the Leicester Riders as a dynamic 5’6” point guard, bringing elite playmaking, defensive toughness, and NCAA Division I experience to the backcourt.

A native of Pleasanton, California, Holland most recently competed for Grand Canyon University, where she averaged 9.1 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game in her final season. Known for her ability to control the tempo and create for teammates, she was a key leader for the Lopes throughout her collegiate career.

Holland began her journey at GCU, earning WAC Freshman of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honors in 2019–20. She later transferred to San Jose State, where she led the Mountain West Conference in steals and was named to the All-Defensive Team, before returning to GCU to complete her senior year.

In addition to competing in the Super League Basketball Women’s season, Holland will also represent the Loughborough Riders in BUCS competition, strengthening the university side’s guard rotation. With her quickness, vision, and defensive intensity, she adds a high-level presence to the Riders’ backcourt.
