Leicester Riders Women Sign American Guard Jada Holland for 2025/26 Season

Leicester Riders today announce the signing of Jada Holland for the 2025–26 Super League Basketball Women’s season.

Holland joins from NCAA Division I side Grand Canyon University (GCU), where she averaged 9.1 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game in her final season. A dynamic point guard known for her elite playmaking, defensive tenacity, and leadership, Holland brings high-level NCAA experience to the Riders’ backcourt.

As well as competing in the Super League Basketball Women’s competition, Holland will represent Loughborough Riders in BUCS, further strengthening the university side’s guard rotation.

A native of Pleasanton, California, Holland began her collegiate career at Grand Canyon University, where she was named WAC Freshman of the Year and Newcomer of the Year in 2019–20. She later transferred to San Jose State, leading the Mountain West in steals while earning All-Defensive Team honours, before returning to GCU to complete her final year of eligibility.

Her time at GCU combined with her pace, toughness, and ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor, makes her a fantastic addition to our team, and I’m looking forward to working with her.”

Holland added:

“Signing my first pro contract with the Riders is a dream come true.” Said Holland, “It’s the moment you work your whole life for. I’m excited to get out there and meet all my teammates and the fans!”
