National Citizen Service

National Citizen Service is the largest youth development programme in the UK, working to provide a unique opportunity to 15 – 17 year olds, to develop key life skills, prepare them for the working world and to mix with new people to develop key communication skills and help develop the local community by creating a social action project.

Leicester Riders Foundation have worked with over 120 young people so far to deliver this great opportunity to support young people to make their mark on their local community, and develop key confidence and independence skills.

The foundation has led NCS sessions for people from all backgrounds, offering opportunities to people who may not otherwise get the chance to experience them.
